Not much has been up

Well I haven’t really had any thoughts  on what I could post in awhile.  Been busy at work, making a shiny new website.  Thanks to Jza for holding up the fort!  Bdan is a lazy bastard btw…

I got the new metroid trilogy game today, but haven’t had a chance to play it yet (I’m writing a speech I’m giving tomorrow!).  I also got the new Batman game, this is supposed to be the first comic video game that is actually really good.  Ha, and I haven’t quit PC games… just nothing really great has come out in awhile.  I’ve been meaning to get back into CoH once summer is over.

Windows 7 is coming out in 2 months… I’ve been playing around with it on my 4 year old laptop.  I’ll say it still can be annoying… it’s really just a nicer version of Vista.  The only thing is Windows Explorer just becomes more useless with each release… I really wish they stuck with the one they had for XP since it actually worked once you played with the settings a bit.

I might switch to a macbook pro for my next laptop (overpriced hardware, but its light, slim, and powerful).  Speaking of which, I got Mac OS X Leopard running as a virtual machine on my dual core setup.  I want to make an iPhone game… I was thinking of doing a space shooter since all I have to do is draw a bunch of spheres!

Hey DG. Careful, CoH has quite a learning curve. I’ve turned into quite a mean player and have some powerful allies, I can help you along. It’s not like War2, I’m not the big man on campus, there’s many aspects of the game I don’t care to learn, particularly 1v1 maps and stuff. I’m a team player in CoH. Team play rules the day in CoH. Selfish players will never win.

Hope you’re doing great at work. No one will hire me. You know I’m normal, I don’t get it.

So right about Explorer in the new OS’. First time I navigated Explorer on Vista, I was surprised at how stupified and useless they made such an important OS tool

Had some probs yesterday day with my 5900XT, hope it doesn’t die and I need a new AGP card…

Oh I also probably have a few replays of my games which would give you an idea. Ep would kick so much ass in CoH. I’d buy him a PC if I was making any money right now. If not to get his mind of the Mets. The Mets DISABLED LIST, has the 11th highest payroll in baseball! The DL LIST!

Anyway make that loot Ro.

Ah man, its not about the loot… but if I’m working my ass off for a project, having a bit of loot is nice.

Hmm… I’ll keep an eye out for an AGP card, maybe a geforce 6 or something…

I figured with enough time you’d really kick ass in CoH. Seems like I have my work cut out for me… I’ll stop by sometimes and check out those replays. I never could quite get my head wrapped around the game play like I did with war2.

I got a macbook pro… before it went all unibody… its a good laptop… you’ll like… I am waiting for Snow Leopard which should improve it more…

Wow BLuD! Yeah part of me is wondering if I should just wait the mobile i7 to come out next month… although not sure if apple will have anything soon. I was thinking of getting a refurb from the apple store since it’s like $400 cheaper.

And snow leopard came out today… although I think they just give you the cd and you have to upgrade yourself.
