I’d like to also add I agree with your complaints regarding the over the top play by play calling in competitive gaming. Especially in the Korean realm. You’d think we just cured cancer at the reactions to some of these gaming moments.

This problem rears itself in sports as well. YES network’s Michael Kay kills me with his fake enthusiasm for the most un-awe inspiring plays. Example: routine fly is caught 20 feet in front of the track… His call: “THIS ONES DEEP TO RIGHT, GOING BACK, BACK, oh the outfielder caught it.”
