Pretty funny drawing, but in some ways true. I’ve used this unit a little bit with Ez and it has a few pros but many drawbacks. Gun seems effective against infantry and light vehicles, the upgrade for the gun is even better vs armor but lacks then vs infantry similar to the Sherman trade off. Comes into the battle way too late to make much of a dent in a good battle. Rocket upgrade is expensive and not very useful at longer ranges. This thing is also a tin can like many light vehicles. Recoiless rifles will evaporate this thing, same for AT guns naturally. It’s fast which is another plus.

I don’t know why people got so worked up about this. It’s not like large planes run into buildings filled with people ever around here. Anyone in JC sees it pass the familiar downtown building. As far as it being a photo op… OK fine, but I’m willing to bet that wasn’t the only purpose for this event.

I could have put a larger video, but GOI’s layout prevented this without messing up Ro’s site. You can full screen it however to relive the awesome feeling the people in the building must have had seeing that plane head towards their office. I bet they said, “hey look at that plane coming RIGHT AT US! Awesome!”

This from someone who’s primarily listened to rap their whole life… If you’re going to have a political or philosophical discussion with educated authors, don’t have a mentally challenged rapper part of the panel. Regardless of whether I think he’s right or wrong, this idiot can’t articulate himself at all. Keep in mind he probably has tons of fans telling him how “deep” he is and are in awe by his wisdom. If you’re going to have a rapper speak, make it be Ice-T, Gza, KRS-1, or something, not this fuckin idiot.

Totally unrelated, I’m sick of hearing how the new Yankee Stadium needs to be altered because of the wind effects causing balls to carry out to right center field. Last I checked when 2 teams play each other they play in the SAME god damn park. Let the new stadium be what it is. Also I imagine David Stern has arranged for the NBA Finals to come down to LA vs Cleveland. But you know, don’t make it look too obvious. Good job 5-24 Kobe Bryant today, scrub.

I hope that Time Warner dies out and never comes back.  These are as evil bastards as you get.  Trying to put bandwidth quotas (and crazy overage charges), destroying competition by changing the law rather than trying to compete, and not upgrading their networks to keep their costs low.  I hope they pay for this and we get to see them in bankrupcy in a few years!  From what I hear, they already make a huge profit on broadband as it now stands.

I signed up for the Quake Live beta.   It’s pretty much an enhanced online version of Quake III Arena that you can play in your web browser.  I’m trying to deathmatch with some people at work (and hopefully kick their ass).

Well last night I did a windows update on my laptop (I used vista 32bit edition) and when I opened up firefox I noticed Microsoft left me a nice suprise.  A new firefox extension that I have no clue what it does (is this spyware?).

Since I couldn’t find out what it does I decided to remove it, but it seems that MS doesn’t want you to do that since it grays out the Uninstall button.  I think this extention only happens when firefox is the default brower (I rarely use IE now a days) and you use windows update to install a .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 update.  Anyway to remove it I found a nice page at www.dedoimedo.com/computers/ms-dotnet-firefox.html.

i was waiting in traffic and could not understand why. till i saw the nose of an Airplane coming towards me. on the corner of Communipaw and Kennedy Blvd in JC NJ.
