Well I’m going to the Dominicain Republic on monday evening for vacation.  I’ll probably come back jan 1st or maybe later.  Don’t know what the internet situation is going to be like so the site might not be updated much since I’m the only news person right now (coughyoulazybastardscoughcough).  Not like I updated the site that much anyways… oh well!  You’re welcome though to make fun of me over at the forums (or you can make fun of me by posting a comment ya bitches).

If you haven’t already, check out the starcraft 2 battle report.  The commentary is a bit over the top though… like “OMG will that probe shield hold up… YES it will… NOOOOOO that probe is gone” and that just for the scout probe!!!  Try to download the video instead of doing the web video player so you get better quality (the web video is still 322 MBs!).

Anyway, minus the exaggerated commentry the video actually makes the game seem like it’ll be fun!  You have watch towers you can take over to get better site (sorta like CoH), breakable obstacles for the map, and high yield resource locations (which give you extra bonus on mining I think).  I think it should make the game more interesting, although I’m holding out until I actually play the game before I say if its going to be good or it will suck.  At the very least the game looks promising.  I just remember what a horrible job they did with war3, but for some reason 90% of the people liked it anyways

There are a ton of moronic people throwing stuff at their tv.  Hell even someone is suing nintendo for $5 millions because her son threw something at their tv!

Why do people throw things at the tv and whine when they break it… I have no clue… hehe.

My roommate just gave me notice I have to leave in 30 days since he is having some close friend who is in “a bind” is going to move in the beginning of January.  I’m going to be on vacation for 2 weeks though so I won’t even be back until Jan 4th or the 5th (I’m thinking Mexico… somewhere nice and warm).  And there is no way I’m canceling my vacation!  That would just be so unamerican!  I think I’m just annoyed at the timing since I really never felt like this was my place anyways and wanted to move out…

I’m going to have a word with him (haven’t spoken to him yet) since he is kicking me out at the worst time of the year to find an apartment (xmas and new years holiday).  I wish I could just get my own place but the economy is shit so I want to keep myself away from a lease!  That means searching for another roommate… hopefully I’ll find something soon… but I might be able to leverage the situation more to my advantage and stuff (like getting my security deposit back immediately and having him pay my moving fees).

Well I guess should be thankful I don’t live in massachusetts, there are some real perverts there (ok only 2 that i have heard of)!

I just got the game today and tried out the first part of the first level. Seems kinda fun shooting up all those zoombies… but I think it would get boring quick single player.

I’m going to try it online soon. I’m just too tired to play games at the moment (it actually is kinda hard to play pc games since I don’t have a chair to sitdown in!  I’m getting my chair back tomorrow from my previous landlord… stupid movers said they didn’t have enough space!)

I think this article is spot on: 6 Ways World of Warcraft is Worse Than Real Life.  It gives some of the exact reasons why I quit WoW.  WoW is alot like work (you spend hours trying to get gold) and I couldn’t agree more!  You also spend a ton of time travelling in the game world or wasting your time killing the same things just to level up…SUCKS!

Anyway if you don’t feel like reading everything, skip to the last page on the link and read the final reason.  It’ll crack you up!  Also be sure to check out this link on what happens in the tram… it’s soo funny.

Either games aren’t as fun as they used to be or I’m getting older and more picky about my taste of games.  Like I really can’t think of any game this year that really made me amazed or really excited.  Last year we had Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3.  I also played Super Paper Mario and thought it was really a great game (but unfortunately it was released in 2007… ha!).

Episode 2 of Half-Life was pretty fun (and creepy).  I got Grand Theft Auto 4… but couldn’t really seem to get into it… I thought the first GTA3 game fuckin amazing… the other ones just felt like the same game…hehe.  Left 4 Dead might be fun… but I really don’t care to play radom “d00dz” on stream.  I got fallout 3, but haven’t even opened the packinging yet… I was trying out Oblivion a few weeks ago but found it boring after playing it 3 hours.  Oh yeah, I tried out CoH this year… game kinda confuses me (I feed like a candian now), but could be fun if I got good enough.

So what’s going to be the game of the year…?  Err…give me another month to decide… if I can find one…

Well after being a year and a half overdue I’ve got the blog section of the site up!  I’m going to be making posts about gaming and any other crap I deem fun to post about   Not only that, but I’m going to continue in the trandition of making fun of russ and his foundness of sheep!

The blog thingy is using wordpress so its really easy to add new posts.  Whomever wants to contribute, please post a comment.  Anyway, I got a few things to post about so I’ll more soon!
